I like Mastodon but I also kinda fuckin hate Mastodon because the closest I get to being in tech is the fact I built my PC which means I fundamentally don't connect with like 80% of the userbase.

@amphetamine @witchfynder_finder @dzuk personally, one thing from Old Twitter (i think it's been kinda gutted since i left tbh) that i miss was the indie comix scene there that i followed, because even though i can't comix worth crap they were just the warmest most wholesome little community that never made you feel alienated or like you didn't belong
the tech scene on Masto has never felt that way; it's all injokes and such
