I really do not understand why people use GitHub over Gitlab AT ALL.
GitLab consistently brings out AMAZING features at least 1x/month. Their company is ethical (donates regularly to amazing coding groups like BlackGirlsCode, DjangoGirls, PythonLadies, etc.).

@amphetamine can you send me the announcement of google buying a chunk of them?? I duckduck'd it but can't find anything. The only thing that comes up is the Kubernetes integration.
I definitely agree we should encourage competition, especially when that competition practices what they preach (like GL being open source)
A small thing too -- GitHub has more than a sexist flap or two. Their institutional culture is mad sexist (according to MANY women out of GH).
