aka "have fun android users lol" (but seriously tho it's good that it's at least patchable, as @stsp was saying)
@wxcafe good luck patching unmaintained android oses :/
@wxcafe RIP FON
@dashie rip fon c'était pas y a 3 ans?
@wxcafe plus j'crois
@wxcafe It's over for WPA1, indeed. About time.
@stsp thank god
@wxcafe Unless for vendors who oatch WPA1 instead of just disabling it.
@stsp I mean, yeah. we can't do anything about it tho :/
@wxcafe two paragraphs down they say the auth password can't be recovered this way.
@krruzic doesn't matter if you can inject and retrieve packets afaict?
@wxcafe sure but you can't tell your iPhone to use a complicated MITM attack for all network requests...
@krruzic nah, but you can tell a computer to do that and create a new AP, that you then connect your iPhone to. Required material: a raspberry pi 3 (25$) and a usb wifi card (uh like 5$)
@wxcafe wow, it's got a logo and everything
but joking aside damn this is bad
